Budgeting without the guilt
Most budgeting apps feel like accounting. Jarly borrows an older idea, the jar on the kitchen shelf, and makes it something you can see.
Save quietly, spend freely
A budget should create calm, not guilt. Saving happens in the background through jars and what they carry forward. Spending what you've set aside should feel allowed.
Fun is part of the plan
The Funday exists because a budget with no room for joy gets abandoned. Leftovers flow to something fun or to savings, so spending well is rewarded and not only restrained.
Every dollar has a job
That includes the fun ones. Nothing sits unassigned, and what each jar has left moves on to something that matters to you.
Start fresh, carry what's earned
Each period begins from zero. When it ends, what is left moves forward to a savings goal or your Funday, and a summary is kept.
Nothing you record is deleted
Things are archived, and each period keeps its history, because jars get renamed and retargeted over time and the past should stay true.
Shared by default, owned clearly
Money is often a household matter. Everyone in a budget sees and records. One owner is accountable for settings and members.
Respect your attention
Reminders are few, timed by you and easy to turn off. They are never sent when there is nothing to say.
Honest money
Savings can't go below zero, so two people can't spend the same dollar. Every number you see comes from what was recorded.
What Jarly is not
Jarly doesn't connect to your bank, invest for you or give financial advice. It tracks what you record, so you can see where your money is going.
